Executive Office
President Trump issued an executive order capping large institutional investment in real estate to no more than 350 homes per company, but allowing a pathway to exceed that amount according to parameters set forth in the executive order. Existing institutional investors, such as Blackstone & and its subsidiaries, (which has a $309 billion global portfolio in residential and commercial buildings) can maintain their national and global portfolio, but that form of business is now capped for everybody else, preserving existing large, institutional investors portion.
